Pilot Logbook International

Is FlyGo Pilot Logbook accepted by authorities?
Yes, both EASA and FAA accepts digital flight logging and our logbook is designed to support both standards by default. If you fall under different authorities then you can still customize your logbook to become suitable for different standards by adding the necessary columns. You can even define your own columns in case something is still missing. Also, you can generate reports signed with your own signature for official administration and interview purposes. These reports are fully customizable as well.  Check out our video about this function!
Do I need to manually calculate my flight times?
No, the auto-fill function calculates everything for you. You can turn it on and off for each column in the settings. Check out our video about it!
Can I sync my logbook between my iOS devices?

Yes, you can use the iCloud backup/restore function to share your logs with any device that use the same Apple ID.

How to import excel data?
Currently it is not possible to import data from other electric logbooks or excel files. However, we are working on an update that will allow users to import flight from different formats. Until we introduce this feature, you can use a simplified way of quickly logging previous flight data with the History Function. Check out our video about this function!
Will you introduce more airplane models and variants in the future?

Yes, we continuously work on our databases to stay up to date with the latest models. That’s being said, it takes time to include all possible planes and variants.
For this reason, you can add your own aircraft types. Start typing its name into the ‘Type’ column and if it’s not present in the database then tap the ‘Save’ button.
Once saved, you’ll be able to find it between the default types.
The Auto-Fill feature works with custom types too so the application will remember the type of a specific aircraft after you assign its identification with the new type.

The app has crashed. What should I do?

Please allow your device to send crash reports. //LINK We will receive every report and fix the problem.
If the crash does not happen at startup then please let us know which action is causing it by sending an email to support@flygo-aviation.com.

I found a bug in the application. How can I contact you?

Please send an email with the clear description of the problem to support@flygo-aviation.com. If possible, please also take screenshots or recordings to make it easier to replicate the problem and find a solution.

I am not satisfied with the product. Could you send me a refund?

It is impossible for us to directly and fully refund anyone because a given percentage of the payments are kept by Apple after each App Store purchase.
However, Apple can refund the full payment. Follow this article to learn how can you claim a refund officially.

I’m preparing for my CAA exams. How useful is this application?

This app is designed to help students to learn and understand the most frequently asked real world exam questions.
However, unlike most app developers, we believe that its most important to understand the logic behind each answer instead of just memorizing answers. For this reason, we integrated various study materials into our application including books, pictures and written explanations.

This way you can be sure to pass your exams the simplest and most efficient way possible.

Can the app help me pass the FAA exams?

Yes, we provide different materials and questions for FAA and EASA based exam preparation.
The official FAA question bank however is classified and it’s illegal to share its contents. Therefore, we introduced questions and study materials that covers an even wider range of knowledge than the basic requirements. This way you can learn everything necessary for your exam, even without knowing the exact exam questions that awaits you.

Can the app help pass the European (EASA) exams?

Yes. Most of the questions under the EASA category are based on real world exam questions and they cover more than what most CAAs would ever ask.

Is it possible to try the application before buying?

The basic app is free. In the free version you have only one special topic, called Mix of subjects. It is a demo topic that we’ve put together in order to show the application’s functionality. By using it, you’ll have a clear picture of what to expect before buying. It contains about 200 free questions, picked from each subject.

I’ve found a question with the wrong answer. What should I do?

We are very careful not to ever show bad answers as correct ones. That’s being said, in extremely rare cases it might be possible for a question to have the wrong answer. In such a case please let us know by sending an email to support@flygo-aviation.com and we will fix it immediately.

Why does the books open at different pages when I tap the study button in practice mode?

The book explanations are linked for each question so they always open on a page where a direct answer and detailed explanation can be found.

How many questions are in the app?

More than 5000 and we continuously introduce more.

Do I need internet connection to open the contents of the library?

No, the whole library is available offline, so you can study anytime and anywhere.

As a flight school, how can I purchase the app for a whole classroom? Do I get any discount?

We are currently working on a classroom-oriented update. This will introduce an online learning management system for schools and their students. The pricing will be published at Q3 2019.

Will you introduce new questions and study materials in the future?

Yes, we are continuously updating our application with new questions, explanations and images. We will soon introduce new books as well.

Can I have Google Maps overlay on the navigation screen?

The main focus of this app is to be as simple as possible. We didn’t want to create a cheaply integrated map-based navigation app without having the necessary resources. For this reason, we settled with creating a simple and useful system instead that doesn’t rely on any paid/online services and will keep working forever exactly as it works now.

The ICAO/IATA code of an airport has been changed. How can I modify it?

You can use the integrated report function to let us know about any changes regarding airports. We will update the information as soon as possible.

How can I change the units of measurements?

Open the settings and you can configure each unit to your preference.

An airport is missing. Can I add my own airport data and locations?
Yes, you can define ‘user points’. To learn more about it, you can check out our video about this topic.
